July flowers and veggies

Things are really greening up around here. Pumpkins and cucumbers are taking over... Tomatoes look food but getting crowded. New flowers are non-existent... I think the new compost has so much fresh stuff in in that the beds are making the seeds mold. Will have to soil test this fall.

Tried radishes for the first time... in vermipost/compost and they are HUGE!!! with GREAT spicy flavor. Bagging mower was in the shop so not much added to compost. Got weeks of coffee grounds dumped in. Most of seedlings are planted. Cold frames were very successful.

Will start a 6x12 surface garden at back corner of house over alphalt. Planning to do all containers there. More on this soon!
