Recycle Friday

Took a vacation day because today was to be eventing at Plantation...  that got canceled for rain so new it's a three-day weekend!  Yippee!!!

Friday was all day outdoors.   Mowed (lawn is looking great and all those grass clippings starting to top off the new bed), Planted (started they day getting brakes on the truck so I spent an hour at Lowes picking plants out of their discard bin...  planted about 30 panseys abd have a couple more to do today), spring feeding (took 5 gallon buckets of worm castings and worked into the soil around clamatis, Hydrangea, roses), composted (neighbor had dumped quite a few grass clippings on the new bed, added my own plus food scraps from Dunkin Donuts and Godgather pizza), photographed (couple shots of the house for the archives, then assorted tulips.   as soon as picasa finishes processing I'll post the slide show) .

Today should be more of the same.   lovely time of the year!
